Robert Sanchez has vowed to fight for his place amid reports Chelsea are set to sign Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen.
Asked if he could become Chelsea’s number one under Enzo Maresca, Sanchez said. “You never know, but I’m training hard right now. Another goalkeeper? I know what I can do for the team, what I can do and I’m confident in myself.”
“He (Maresca) explained everything very well, he was very dedicated to the training and he made everything easy to understand. We could see clearly what he wanted so that when the time came, we could follow it.”
“Playing with my feet is my game. I feel comfortable with what he wants. It’s completely different and goalkeepers have to show character.”
“I speak to him a little bit every day, but not like going to his office to talk for half an hour or something. We have to listen. We have to follow, and this is Maresca’s time, ทางเข้า ufabet and if we can get there, it will be really good.”
“If we get to the point where we understand his style perfectly, it will be beautiful to watch and with this dressing room we can challenge for the top four and I believe we can do it.”
Sanchez has started in both friendlies but will face competition for his place with Chelsea reportedly closing in on a deal for Jorgensen.
